A not-for-profit organization, launched in 2006 to change the trajectory of school outcomes for students residing in Central Brooklyn. ASI is named in honor of Dr. Adelaide L. Sanford, Vice Chancellor Emerita, Board of Regents, University of the State of New York. ASI remains mission-focused: to improve outcomes of Central Brooklyn’s students of color.
